elita is a digital music and culture meeting debuting during the next Salone del Mobile (Design week) in Milan.
elita (electronic italia) is a new all-italian brand working on elettronic music and arts.

The ‘Salone’ in the years has become a moment of positive consideration about post modern living more than a simple furniture fair. Salone has become an interntional space opened to endless contaminations.

elita wants to be a further element inside the plentiful programme of the design week proposing music, visual and performative arts.

The contamination begins with the visual marketing and communication work elaborated by Struttura Leggera, a young atudio of milanese architects. A combination between old and new industrial prototypes and new and old media players define a fantastic and extreme multimedia scenery.

Elita will be held in 9 different locations with events during the whole day.

The headquarter will be open from the morning in the central location of the Meritalia showroom in via Durini where designer Fabio Novembre supervise the exhibition Some Good News from Meritalia of prototypes and setups. There will be a point with digital cultures documentation, showcases, editorial presentations, meetings among professionals and daily dj and live sets.
The daily appointment with the pre-dinner ‘aperitive dj set’ is set at the Bond, in the navigli area, where we’ll find the house moods of Parisian Karmina (ex Miss Sin), the minimal soundscapes of Chris Tietjen from Cocoon and the extra funk sounds of Eclat.

From 10 pm two of the most happening bar-clubs, Rocket and 65 metriquadri, will held some of the freshest stars of the electronic scene: Munk and Headman presenting the exceptional Gomma Records label, the all-Italian genius of Francisco, the funky-breaks vision of Englishman Quantic and Painè, the minimal house of Chilean girl phenomenon Dinky, the German sounds of Guido Schneider and the Milan underground heroes Sandiego and Chico Rush.

The night time is dedicate to pure clubbing in the temples of the beats Plastic and Magazzini Generali, where we’ll see the affirmed talents of the Get Physical label roster (lead by M.A.N.D.Y., Snax, Einzelkind), and 2manydj’s, James Holden, Luciano, Moodymann, Lele Sacchi accompanied by some of the up and coming Italian new producers making everyone dance until dawn.

elita will also host a series of special events in collaboration with the official partners of the festival: the 5th there will be an opening party at the headquarter for the Meritalia showroom supervised by Fabio Novembre and powered by Nastro Azzurro, the 6th Stefano Ghittoni will showcase the new The Dining Rooms album at the Antonioli shop, the 7th the presentation of the book ‘Love Saves The Day’ in collaboration with Red Bull Homegroove, the 8th at the historical monument Rotonda della Besana the ‘Night is One by Carlo Cracco’ promoted by BMW 1 series and the huge final party with Nastro Azzurro..

In all these spaces over 30 artists will propose their personal view of a language, the electronic culture, which has given birth to the most important worldwide aggregation phenomenon of recent history: the club culture. On this arts tip the most interesting and revolutionary show will be The Disco Dimmer event held at Microgallery N!03.
