Prized for their vibrant sounds and the physical immediacy they allow performers, analog synthesizers are combined here with acoustic instruments and kinetic video sculptures in the annual concert presented by the Southern California Resource for Electro-Acoustic Music. This performance features an unconventional seven-member ensemble comprising film composer Gary Chang, Nine Inch Nails member Alessandro Cortini, composer and sound designer Richard Devine, composer and instrument designer Peter Grenader, composer and instrument designer Chas Smith, composer and synthesist Thighpaulsandra, and multimedia artist and video sculptor Paul Tzanetopoulos.
