Well I got a PSU from Maplin and have been playing with the Nemo a bit, it's great fun, not having any real display is a benefit I think as is not having to touch the bloody computer.
I haven't got too deeply into it yet but it looks like it can do some pretty clever stuff.
Here is a cheesy guitar ramble all sequenced from the Nemo with Guitars from Omnisphere.
At last, a plank that can stand the spankin'! A Fender US Telecaster (Sunburst) now resides in my humble abode. Pictures to follow. _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Where there are too many soldiers, there is no peace. I leave town and you buy a new guitar. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Actually, it was second-hand! _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Where there are too many soldiers, there is no peace. Where there are too many lawyers, there is no justice.

I see wot you mean, but the Tele is a different beast, firstly because it is as immediate as an acoustic on account of bridge (I will NOT try to explain, as my grasp of the technical side of guitaring is limited to put it mildly), secondly, if you want to play electric Blues the way I like to, the tele lets me be as ferocious as anything, I mean, it can give you a tone you can shave with. _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Fascinating. So far I have been playing it like a conventional guitar, with the extra wrinkle that I can sustain notes as long as I want (i.e. "controlled sustain" mode). It is *really* nice to play that way. Plus the resonant filter built into the foot pedal is kind of a super wah-wah pedal.

How is the basic quality of the actual guitar? What price range would it be without the Moog bits?
I'm not real good at estimating such things.
It has a Wilkinson (Gotoh) tremolo bridge and nicely made locking tuners with no obvious brand marking (but which I think I've heard are also made by Gotoh). Nut and bridge saddle are by Graph Tech, fingerboard is ebony. The finish is gorgeous. There's very little decoration, but what there is is beautiful.
Two magnetic pickups and a piezo pickup in the bridge. Switching is tightly integrated with the Moog electronics so it is hard to say what it would be otherwise.
I don't know who actually makes the guitar bodies, or where. It is marked "Assembled in USA," which suggests that major parts are made elsewhere.
It is a delight to play.
Somewhere I've seen a picture of just how much electronics is inside -- essentially it's a circuit board that fills about 2/3 of the guitar's body.
So how does one evaluate what such a unique beast "should" cost?

As cheap as possible hopefully
I have been trying to get info from the distributor in the UK but no info seems to be available about price or the possibility of actually getting hold of one.
