"An astonishing array of musical talents, a phenomenal voice, a master with electronics..." (NY Press). Avant-cabaret artist Amy X Neuburg performs a "one-woman musical hurricane" (Otago Times, NZ) of emotionally intense, tightly crafted songs and stories accompanied by electronic percussion and layers of live vocal looping. Tonight Amy's new cello trio (Jess Ivry, Elaine Kreston, Kelley Maulbetsch) will present selections from her in-progress song cycle, and Amy will perform several recent solo works as well as some old favorites.
